William (Billy) Wallace Woods, 92 passed away on November 27, 2013 in Jacksonville, Fl. He served in and was Honorably Discharged from the US Army, later retiring after a long career at the King Edward Cigar Factory. Billy was a faithful member of Rondo Avenue Baptist Church and the Hammond Senior Citizen's Center. He was predeceased by his children, Billy, Jr., Alice and Laura. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; his son John (Vickie); and grandchildren Jessica, Adam and Cole. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax. FL 32205, where a public visitation will be held, Sunday Dec 1, 2013 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. A graveside service and interment will held at 3:30 pm Monday Dec 2, 2013 at Riverside Memorial Park, Reverend Robert Fore officiating.
