Wilma was a resident of both Jacksonville, FL and Germantown, MD, and was born in Moray, GA in 1926.
She is predeceased by her husband E.J. Shrowder, her son Jerry Shrowder, and her daughter Wilma Ann Allen.
Wilma was retired from Revlon after working with them for 30 years, and retired from Publix supermarkets
after working with the company for more than 20 years. Wilma loved people and will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
Wilma is survived by her children Charlene Taylor, Donald & Ronald Shrowder, Jimmy Shrowder, Elaine Nolan, E.J. Shrowder Jr., Deborah Nolan, Terri Shrowder, and Joyce Tarler. She also leaves to cherish her memory 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday February 12, 2016 at First United Pentecostal Church, 11697 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221. A graveside service will immediately follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
