Wilma Hazel Spence, age 95, passed away June 30, 2025 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK and a former resident of Jacksonville, FL for many years. The last year she was a resident of Murfreesboro TN.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmot Nelson Summerall and Cecil Godwin Summerall, husband of 51 years Edgar M Spence, a sister, Juanita Summerall Ballard and a brother Wilmot “Buddy” Sumerall Jr. She is survived by son, Morris James (Gail) Spence of Murfreesboro, TN, daughter, Deborah Burcham of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Steven (Shelley) Spence of Cordova, TN, Chris Spence of Murfreesboro TN, Rachael (Luke) Zelechoski of Rio Rancho, NM, Dan (Juwina) McNamara of Cambridge MA and Tim McNamara of New York, NY; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside service will be on July 11, 2025 at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, FL.
