Born January 1, 1942 in New Orleans, LA, went to be with the Lord July 29, 2022. He passed peacefully in his sleep. A Widow and father to a son and step-son, and 8 grandchildren, who knew him as "Bop". He managed food for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Meals-On-Wheels, a free food pantry, and two family restaurants. Mr. Smith’s hobbies included Archaeology, beekeeping, paranormal research, surfing, fishing, and a lifetime of Martial Arts. A Memorial Service to be held Sunday July 10, 2022 from 4-6pm at Murray Hill Theatre, 932 Edgewood Ave South, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
