She married young and got two children, Fiona and Clive but later divorced when she met John in 1975 when she worked as Executive Secretary for a Fabric distributor in Leicester England. She moved with John to Sweden and they got married on New Year’s Eve 1976. She studied Swedish and after less than six months she was able to communicate and continued to learn and within less than two years she was able to qualify for secretarial work employment.
