Yvonne Robertson Ray

Yvonne was born on November 16th, 1937, in Cherokee Alabama to William Robertson and Rosie Humphery. Both of her parents were from Cherokee Alabama.

Yvonne’s hobbies were crossword puzzles, cooking, watching cartoons and movies, traveling, going on walks and road trips, drawing and gardening She also liked doing, origami, shopping, churning ice cream and collecting dolls. She also liked spending time and playing with her dogs Buster and Susu. She had a very full and eventful life.

Yvonne always had a pocket full of napkins if you needed it, and she would always lend a helping hand to any one in need. She loved helping others. Yvonne attended church at First Coast Baptist in Jacksonville Florida. Yvonne was the 9th of 10 children.

Yvonne left behind two children, Katrina and Allen Varnadore, who live in Jacksonville Florida and a granddaughter, Raychel Varnadore, who lives in Kissimmee Florida. we would also like to acknowledge West Coast Wounds, Center Well Home Health, Jax House Calls, Baptist South, Choice Matters, Ascension Health, Confidential Care, her therapists, doctors and her nursing teams for helping take care of her.

A visitation for Yvonne will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
