Benny Dale Basinger

He was born on November 29, 1942 to Jesse S. Basinger and Virginia Bungard Basinger. He married Karen Bissett on July 8, 1963 - she preceded him in death on August 3, 2016. He was retired from Supervalue in Belle Vernon, PA as a truck driver. He enjoyed Jefferson Football Club, Steamshow, and country music. He was a member of the American Legion Post 954 of Jefferson, PA and The Moose Lodge #461 of Waynesburg, PA.

He is survived by his son, Sam Basinger of Mather; daughter, Dawn Basinger of Waynesburg; granddaughters, Destinee Basinger of Carmichaels and Jamie Teagarden of Carmichaels; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mona Simmons and Connie Watson; brothers, Charles "Bud" Basinger, Harry "Wayne" Basinger, Richard "Dick" Basinger, Edward "Ed" Basinger, and William "Bill" Basinger.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, February 11 from 10 AM until 12 PM, with a service beginning at 12 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344. A private burial will be held at Greene County Memorial Park.
