

He was born on December 8, 1948 to the late Lee S. Muscavitch and Hazel Muscavitch. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1968 and then went on to DuPage College in Chicago, IL with a degree in Horticulture. He worked as a horticulturist in Southgate, MI and later joined his parents in operating Lee's Greenhouse in 1976. He was a member of The Rices Landing Sportsmans Club and The Rices Landing Athletic Club. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds in his yard, along with decorating his home with flowers for the different seasons and holidays. He also enjoyed watching the Steelers, along with college football games. He had a love for all of his family and enjoyed watching his grandchildren every chance he got. Dan had a love for all animals; he loved the outdoors and all of its beauty - even cutting grass.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Muscavitch; children, Julie Muscavitch (Brian Jacoby) and Matthew Muscavitch (Candy Carr); grandchildren, Aiden, Abigail, and Eli Jacoby; siblings, Marlee Roberts (David), Jennifer McClung, Melissa Whitehead (Walt), Don Muscavitch (Peggy), and Amanda Davis (Mark),
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Harbaugh; and brother-in-law, Mark Harbaugh.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday, July 5 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344 - where a funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6 at 11 AM; burial to follow at Greene County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's memory to The Greene County Humane Society.
