Dora Mae Vassallo, born on March 24, 1931 in Jefferson, PA passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 94 at home. Dora Mae was a resident of McClellandtown, Pennsylvania. She was a daughter of the late James Henry Lutes and Anna Mae Dodds. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Triumph Fellowship Church in McClellandtown, PA. Dora Mae was member of the VFW Auxiliary. She really enjoyed bowling, dancing, drinking wine and casinos. Her Husband: John Vincent Vassallo, whom she married on April 5, 1970 died February 6, 1987.
Surviving are Children: Bruce and Patty Black, Thomas West, Sr. and Rick Holloman, Skip and Sue Black, James West, Pamela and Andrew Wozny, Claira and Joe Tokish, Dana West and Cheryl, 26 Grandchildren, 56 Great-Grandchildren and 22 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Siblings: Walter R. Lutes and Bessie Pearl Holland and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased: 1 Son-Barry Black, 1 Granddaughter, 2 Grandsons and relatives James Lutes, Dolores Janco Watson, John Lutes, William Lutes, Martha Polander, Laura Ann Hayden, Sarah Myrtle Lutes, Mary Charlotte Hatches and Margaret Viola Chopp.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025 in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344 with her service being held at 1:00 PM with Pastor A.J.
