She was born February 13, 1927, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Larry and Mary King Jewell.
Jane was a 1945 graduate of Carmichaels High School.
She was a homemaker.
Jane was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church of Jefferson. And she was a member United Methodist Women and a past District President of the United Methodist Women.
On June 18, 1947, she married Ray W. Ross, who died July 3, 2010.
Surviving are two daughters, Peggy Harmon of Salina, TX, and Judith Hamlin of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Ash Harmon, and April Childers; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Douglas (Amy) Jewell of Venice, FL.
Deceased in addition to her husband is a daughter, Patricia Brennan.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Carroll officiating.
