Katherine was born on July 7, 1948, in Pittsburg, California, and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland always held a special place in her heart, especially when it came to cheering on her beloved Cleveland Browns. Later in life, she moved to Pennsylvania after meeting the love of her life, Larry Jamison. The two fell deeply in love and were married on August 8, 1966.
Family meant everything to Katherine. She was a devoted mother to her sons Larry (and his girlfriend Rebecca), David (and his wife Melissa), and Brian (and his wife Heidi). She was also an incredibly proud grandmother to Dante (and his wife Celeste), Trevor (and his wife Erin), Bria, Ewing, Bronx, Cera, and Blake. Her joy only grew when she became a great-grandmother to Adonis and Marley, and she was so excited to welcome two more great-grandchildren later this year.
Katherine is also survived by her brother Walter “Wally” Paul and his wife Lori, along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Paul; her sister, Carol Guzik; her beloved grandson, Dominic Jamison; and the love of her life, her husband Larry, whom she missed dearly. Kathy loved cooking meals for the people she loved, playing Yahtzee with her best friend Janet, watching the Cleveland Browns, and cheering from the sidelines at any sport her children or grandchildren played. Her greatest joy was simply being surrounded by family and her dog, Sassy.
Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
While our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited in heaven with her husband Larry and those who went before her.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344; burial to follow at Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery in Masontown, PA.
