Paul M. Medlick, 93 of Jefferson, PA, passed away at 9:52 PM, Friday, September 11, 2026 surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born on September 12, 1932, in Rosedale, PA, a son of the late Michael Medlick and Mary Student Medlick.
Paul was a 1950 Graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School, and received his Masters Degree from West Virginia University in 1955.
He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. He was Past Commander and Past Historian with the Jefferson American Legion Post #954.
Paul worked as a coal miner at Buckeye Coal Company and Emerald Coal Company for many years. Later in life he served as a caseworker for Children and Youth Services with the county.
On November 28, 1959, he married Mary Olivia Pascuzzo who passed away on July 12, 1967. Surviving are their 5 Children: Angela Marie Brewer, Paul Michael Medlick Jr., John Edward Medlick and William Hopkinson, Kathleen Ann Thistlethwaite and husband Michael, Barbara Michele and Duane Edward Christy, 5 Grandchildren: Tiffany, Maria and Jacob Christy, Brandon, Jodi and Brad Hall and Jordan Mathew, 2 Great-Grandchildren: Isaac Hall and Lucas and Payge Hall, 2 Sisters: Eleanor Smith and Jean Juliani and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 1 Son-Samuel Medlick, 1 Grandson-Duane Edward Christy Jr., Siblings-Kathleen Koloff, Frances Reagan, Robert Medlick, Edward Medlick and his infant sister-Margaret Medlick.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 in the Behm Funeral Home, Inc. 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344 Faith B. Lefort-Funeral Director where a Blessing service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2026 with Deacon Barry Krofcheck as celebrant. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Twp., PA 15370. Graveside Military Rites to be accorded by the Greene County Veterans.
