

Roxanne Lee Bruhn (Joseph), beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother passed away peacefully on August 3rd, 2026 at the age of 61. She was surrounded by her family at home, in Pearl City, Hawaii.
Born on April 2nd, 1965 in Honolulu, by mother, Carolyn Richey (Burgo), father, Irvin Joseph and stepfather, Robert Richey, stepmother, Rose Soto.
She grew up making unforgettable memories with her brother, Joey Joseph in Kailua and graduated from Kailua High School in 1983.
Throughout her life, Roxanne was a source of unwavering love, strength, and guidance to her family and friends. She married Martin Bruhn on December 24th, 2003 and together they built a life full of cherished memories. Together they raised 2 beautiful children, Brandi Whitt and Brandon Bruhn. However, after the Lord brought her daughter, Brandi Whitt home, they soon adopted Brandi’s daughter, Kaila Ing (Bruhn). In addition to her children, she became the most wonderful grandmother to 4 granddaughters; Hailey Bruhn, Isabella Bruhn, Juliette Bruhn, and Hollyn Bruhn and great grandmother to 2 grandsons; Kamaha’o Bruhn-Ing and Ka’imi Bruhn-Ing. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends who were touched by her warmth.
Roxanne was a passionate, hard worker and served many people during her time as a CNA with Castle Hospital for 28 years and with Bristol Hospice for almost 10 years. She has left an impact on so many people who have been cared for by the hands of Roxanne.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Roxanne’s life will be held at Liliuokalani Trust located at 41-245 Ilauhole St. Waimanalo, HI 96795, on October 23rd, 2026. Visitation will start at 10:00am and the service will begin at 11:00am. Friends and family are invited to attend to pay their respects and share their memories.
