Andrea Savedge was more than a wife, mother, and grandmother—she was the heart of a family that radiates love, strength, and compassion because of the example she set. She welcomed people with open arms, never making them feel like anything less than part of the family. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. She was a steady presence—an anchor—for everyone around her.
For Butch, her lifelong partner and constant companion, she was the love of a lifetime. The kind of bond they shared is something rare and beautiful, and it was visible in every glance, every quiet moment, every shared laugh.
For Stephanie, Theresa, Xavier, and Gary, she was not just a mother and grandmother—she was a source of endless wisdom, patience, and unconditional love. The strength she passed down to them is evident in the way they love, lead, and support those around them. Through them—and through everyone she loved—her legacy continues.
We are endlessly thankful for the moments we shared, the stories she told, the laughs around the table, and the quiet comfort of just being in her presence. Her kindness, grace, and the way she cared for the ones she loved will always stay with us. She didn’t just open her home—she opened her heart.
Today, while the rest of the world moves forward, it feels like time has stopped for those of us who loved her. There’s a space that can’t be filled, a silence where her voice used to be. But still—she lives on. In the memories we hold close. In the love she gave so freely. In the strength she passed down to every member of this incredible family.
Andrea is survived by her lifelong partner Russell (Butch) Amidon, her daughter Stephanie (Gary) Nobach, her grandchildren Theresa (Lucas), Xavier, LeighAnna, and Duncan, her great-grandson Hyrum, and her favorite cousin Pam Becker. As well as her "other daughter" Erin (Jennifer) Funk and their four daughters and two lifelong friends Judy Mason and Joan Baldwin. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Theresa and Richard Savedge, and her son, Richard Amidon.
Andrea loved her pets, camping cooking, and anything artistic but had most recently found a love for quilting. She lovingly created quilts for many of the people she loved. She said she would never sell them because her art and love that she put into each piece was worth far more to her than any amount of money.
Thank you, Andi/Mom/Grandma. For everything. We love you deeply. We miss you more than words can ever say. And we will carry you with us, always.
