Anna Stratton

With sad hearts we share that Anna, age 95 passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. Anna was born in Resin, Czechoslovaka. After being displaced during WWII, at age 23 Anna immigrated to the United States and soon after became a US citizen. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a penchant for working hard and saving her money, Anna opened up the highly successful White City Beach in Keego Harbor and then the Bloomfield Canopy restaurant in West Bloomfield with her husband Frank.

Anna was predeceased in 1984 by her loving husband Frank Stratton and by her older brother

Rudy in 2007. Anna will be dearly missed by her children Frank (Pam) Stratton, Diane Grassi, John Stratton and Julie (Rick) Gutierrez and her grandchildren Aaron, Arielle, Shaun, Jacquelynn, Jayson, Michelle, Michael, Annalia, Christina and Daniel. Anna's final resting place will be at the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Ml.
