Saw online that reverend hashman had passed. He was our family pastor at assembly of god in Pontiac. Reverand hashman performed my wedding ceremony at that same church on August 25th, 1962. Also my husbands family home was across the street from godhards funeral home ( as it was known then). They handled all of his family needs when someone passed. please accept my condolences. My parents, Don & Elnor Reamer were saved at Pontiac First Assembly and went with Pastor Hashman to found the church in Waterford. His wife Jayne was my piano teacher. Our entire family is grateful for his faithful service to God through the years. I know my folks, Pastor, and all their friends from times gone by are having a really great time right now.

DEAR FAMILY OF PASTOR HASHMAN. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, BUT REJOICE WITH YOU AS WE KNOW HE STANDS IN GLORY NOW TO BE WITH ALL OUR LOVED ONES. PASTOR AND JAYNE WERE MY SPIRITUAL PARENTS and ENCOURAGED ME EVERY STEP OF MY CHRISTIAN WALK. EVEN WHEN I LEFT FOR AWHILE, THEY WERE ALWAYS READY TO TAKE ME BACK INTO THEIR FOLD (as if i'd never left). SISTER HASHMAN PUSHED ME TO SING AND HELPED ME DEVELOP MY SINGING. I SHALL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR THAT. THEY WELCOMED MY FAMILY WITH OPEN ARMS AND SISTER JAYNE ALWAYS WITH THAT GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL SMILE ON HER FACE. PASTOR HASHMAN HAD THAT SAME SMILE AS WELL. I WAS ONLY 18 WHEN WE FIRST MET. I WILL LOVE THEM AND THEIR CHILDREN ALWAYS.. BARB & PETE FERGUSON.

Pastor Hashman was the pastor who led me to Christ in1976 at Calvary Temple on Crescent Lake Road. He was the first to confirm Gods call on my life in 1982 and gave me my first preaching opportunity in January 1987. I have been preaching and pastoring for over three decades and I regularly think and speak of him and his influence in my life. I love him deeply. Well done Pastor AQH and thank you for believing in me.
