

Brenda was known for standing firmly in her political beliefs and never being afraid to speak her mind. She proudly participated in protests and rallies supporting causes she believed in and fought passionately for the rights of others. Brenda was a true survivor and fighter, she overcame many challenges throughout her life, while also standing faithfully beside her mother.
She spent several years living in Las Vegas, where she worked as a waitress and was a proud member of the Food Service Workers Union. Brenda loved people and treasured the good times shared with friends and family. Whether riding motorcycles, getting her hands dirty in the garden, fixing vehicles, or sitting down for a game of cards, she embraced life fully and without hesitation.
Brenda had a deep love for nature, especially wildflowers and the beach. She enjoyed painting, playing bingo, and watching the television show Survivor. Her adventurous spirit, resilience, and sense of humor will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Michael Peters, age 46, and her daughter, Jenny Wright, age 28.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Wright; her brother, Michael; and her loving mother and father.
Brenda’s strength, loyalty, and fearless spirit leave behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire those who loved her.
