Brian Joseph Dacorte

DaCorte, Brian Joseph; 59; of Waterford; passed away on April 16, 2016, after a long courageous battle with Lung Cancer. He was born in Martinez, CA on December 17, 1956. Loving husband of Laurie and cherished Father of Shawn (Kaitlyn), Antone (Miranda), Gina, and Daniel. Brian retired from Oakland County Road Commission. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran belonging to the Marine Corps League and was a lifetime member of the Waterford Heart of the Lakes VFW.

Brian's lifelong passion was coaching both youth and high school football for over 30years; winding up his sixth season last fall at his dream school, Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep. Brian's love for football was only surpassed by his devotion to family! He is preceded in death by parents , Antone and Leatrice as well as sister, Lynn Derrick. He is survived by sisters, Judith (George) Tehada, Deborah (Larry) Church, brother David (Laura) Dacorte, and many loved relatives. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 7th from 12 to 3 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at Pixley Funeral Home, 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor. The family would be pleased to receive your company for dinner following the service at the VFW Post 1008 at 1690 Airport Road, Waterford.
