Cassandra White, age 80, of West Bloomfield, was born August 28, 1945 in Detroit and passed away peacefully July 30, 2026 at home. Beloved wife of Daniel White. Loving mother of Mike (Terri) Majerowicz. Proud grandmother of Michael (Jessica) Majerowicz. Treasured great-grandmother of Henryk. Dear sister of Denise Kent. Cassandra will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Cassandra was preceded in passing by her parents, Chester Pietrzak and Helen Staley.
Cassandra dedicated many years of her career to Cranbrook Academy, where she was a valued and respected employee. After retiring, she embraced every opportunity to travel, especially enjoying spending her winters in Florida. Above all, Cassandra cherished her family, and the love she shared with them was one of the greatest joys of her life.
Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00am at Family Funeral Care, 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor. Memorial Luncheon will be held locally immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, Cassandra's wish was for family and friends to plant flowers in her memory as a lasting tribute to her life.
