Chris will be remembered for his love of the Lions, Texas hold 'em, euchre, and family. He had careers as a chauffeur, mechanic, butcher, and in security. He was an overcomer, conquering a nicotine addiction and maintaining sobriety over the past 12 years. He was a fierce warrior, “weaseling” an additional 3 1/2 years after his inoperable stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis.
For it is by Grace you have been saved, through Faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works so that no one can boast. ~ Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
Truly, my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. ~ Psalm 62:1 (NIV)
