It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Frank Elliott, who passed away on May 14th at the age of 66. A devoted father and husband, Chris dedicated 39 years of his life working at Chrysler Automotive, where he leaves behind a legacy of quality work and strong friendships.
Outside of work, Chris found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Grilling in the backyard, tending to his rose bushes, keeping the lawn just right, biking, and running; he cherished the outdoors. His favorite days were spent on the lake, he loved being out on his boat and waterskiing, and teaching others how to ski or wakeboard.
Known for his ability to fix just about anything, Chris was especially talented with cars and technology, always eager to share his knowledge with those around him. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling to the Grand Canyon with his wife Cindy, visiting his grandson in Florida, becoming a front porch pit master with his barbecue smoker, and gardening.
His kindness, patience, and self-disciplined approach to life made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chris is survived by his wife Cindy; daughters Carrie Elliott and Callie (Chadwick) Wells and beloved grandson Carrick; his sister Jane, his sister-in-law Debbie, brother-in-law Bill, niece Dianne, nephew Steven (Savannah) and great nephew Zane. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Frank, his father Jack Elliott, and brother Tom Elliott.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Salvation Army or Forgotten Harvest.
A gathering of friends will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Family Funeral Care 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor, MI 48320.
