Edward C. McAllister, 82, of Sylvan Lake, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 19, 2015. Husband of Betty for 59 years. Father of the late Andrew, Julie (Guy) Johnson, Karen (Mark) Shepler, Kathy, John (Jeanie) and Paula McAlllister. Also preceded in death by one grandson Derek, he leaves behind 8 other grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one sister Marilyn (Dennis) Geno. Service is scheduled for Monday, March 23rd at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 80 S. Lynn St. Waterford Twp. Visitation will begin at 10am with a Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
