Geraldine "Geri" Houser

Geraldine “Geri” Houser, 77, died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 19, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1942 in Detroit. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter (Whitey) and Stella Glowaz. Loving mother to Sharon Burton and Michael Houser. Cherished grandmother of Carly Burton, Chase (Haley Hoyt) Burton, Chad Burton, Charlie Houser, Levi Houser, and Michael Schifflet. Dear sister to Linda (Rick Del Rose) Glowaz and Ray (Sandy) Glowaz and aunt to Nicole (Michael) Blaustein. Geri had a passion for crossword puzzles, bowling, a variety of crafts and reading romance novels. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Family Funeral Care, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd, Keego Harbor. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 beginning at 1:30 pm with a mass at 2:00 pm at St. Perpetua Catholic Church, 134 Airport Road, Waterford, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
