Jack Hoffarth, 79, of Keego Harbor Michigan, most loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away in the evening of Thursday, August 11th, 2022. Born July 1st, 1943 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Forrest and Harriett (Ransom) Hoffarth.
Jack graduated from Waterford High School in 1962 and was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Air Force from 1964-1968. He was a big-hearted personality that made a friend out of anyone that he met. He was a kind soul that always had a story to tell that made you smile and laugh. One of his greatest joys in life was being a devoted grandfather “Papa” to his only “favorite” granddaughter and all of the adventures they shared. He had many hobbies and interests and was always tinkering around in his workshop. A natural salesman, he enjoyed his time at Art Moran Buick GMC and loved all the people he came in contact with over his 30+ year career.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary (Wilkinson), son Kenneth, sister Eileen “Kay” Kleine. He is survived by his daughters, Beth and Chantelle Hoffarth, Kristie (Stephen) Shepard, granddaughter Kate Shepard, brother Robert Hoffarth and many nieces and nephews.
Jack’s memories will forever live on in his stories and in the hearts of all that love him for many years to come.
To honor him we would like to invite family and friends to join us for a Celebration of Life and Sunday dinner. Sunday dinner was always and event at his household where our family gathered and friends, new and old were invited to
join. In his spirit, we will break bread, drink a little and share memories.
