John M. Luttrell

John M. Luttrell, 48, resident of Sylvan Lake, MI passed away March 8, 2012 peacefully after a brave battle with cancer. John was born and raised in Roseville and graduated from Oakland University where he received a Computer Science degree.

He was the youngest of 6 children born to the late Jack and Flossie Luttrell. John was predeceased by his oldest sibling Art Luttrell II. John will forever be remembered by his devoted siblings, Bruce (Susan) Luttrell of Chicago, Julie (Larry) Wroblewski of Okemos, Linda (Mike) Dornan of Armada, Lee Carol Duell (Phil) of Grosse Ile. John provided great memories on Sylvan Lake to his 6 nieces and 7 nephews. John considered his extended family the countless friends who were blessed to know him. John loved cheering on all Detroit sports teams, particularly the Lions, traveling to sunny locales, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends. John touched the lives of so many people with his smile and kindness, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. The visitation hours will be Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Seasons Hospice, 200 Muir Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
