Josephine, long ago you welcomed the Walsh clan with open arms and became a member of our family. You had a lovely smile, a gracious demeanor and a warm generous heart that, unfortunately, had endured more than its share of grief. You were an independent and private person, and as your health declined you kept your troubles to yourself, never asking for help. How I wish you had! I will fondly remember the many conversations, dinners, laughs, hugs, holidays and good times we shared. Thank you for the gift of your friendship. Love...

Josephine was a kind, caring and generous woman and it was difficult to see her suffer with so many health problems in recent years. I remember how she  always showered the kids with beanie babies at Christmas, much to their delight. And how she loved to entertain with wonderful food. She was also a very intelligent person with many interests, and made beautiful dolls with crocheted clothing. I didn't know she was a rock fan until that time we went to see the Allman Brothers together! So sad to say good bye.

Even though I did not know you through out my life, it was a wonderful short time we had to get to know each other. I'm so happy you came to the wedding and caught my bouquet, Ate the great Polish meal My Mom made all of us, came to Oskar's shower and tried a Blue Moon beer. I just wish there was more time, I wish we had spent more years together to have more memories. Even though it was short I fell in love with you as a Aunt, and a friend. I will always miss you.

"Aunt Jo Gee" as I use to call her as a child. I remember her taking me many places as a young child, DIA, The Magic Pan (restaurant), camping, and so many other places. She was a very active and caring woman. Although our time together was cut short, I will always remember all the wonderful places she took me and my brother. She will be missed.

Josephine, the loss of a beautiful person is always hard to bear. Especially one who was a good friend. She always wore a great smile, had a good word to cheer you up and brighten your day. Careing and loving, compasionate to the core. She helped me through some tough times, though she had trials of her own. There is only one place she can be now, in peace and comfort. Good by my friend.
