

Born on March 11, 1943, to Louis Francis Sleeman and Margaret Sleeman (née Mager), Louis grew up in a large, close-knit family. He was one of eight siblings and is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Sleeman and sister Kathy Sleeman. He is survived by Patrick Sleeman, Thomas (Donna) Sleeman, Johanna (Robert) Warren, Timothy (Susan) Sleeman, and Jonathon Sleeman.
Louis worked as a tow truck driver, a job that reflected his dependable, steady nature. Known for his quiet strength and firm sense of responsibility, he approached life with a strong will and a deep commitment to his family. Those who knew him best remember a man who led with action, loved with loyalty, and stood firm in his values.
He was formerly married to Darlene Kaptor, the mother of his children. Together they raised a large family that was the center of Louis’s world. He leaves behind his children: Lawrence (the late Theresa) Sleeman, Lorri Parker, Scott Sleeman, Terrence Sleeman, Dawn (Eric) Elliott, Keith (Natalia) Sleeman, and Kara Sleeman.
Louis’s legacy continues through his many grandchildren: Johnny Sleeman, James Sleeman, Shawn Sleeman, Hailey Sleeman, Elisha Parker, Chris Parker, Jay Parker, the late Jenny Brunskowski, Evyn Schmitt, Zak Sleeman, Darcee Rehagen, Daniel Zenner, Dakota Elliott, Dax Elliott, Katya Stewart, Nikola Stewart, and Codi Jablonowski.
He was a man marked by love, strength, and family devotion. Though often stern, his presence brought stability and safety to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
