Madeline Arlene Poster, age 78, of West Bloomfield, was born on March 26, 1948, in Winnetka, Illinois, and passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2026. Madeline was the beloved wife of John Poster for 56 years and the loving mother of Alexander (Leslie) Poster. She was the dear aunt of Jay Rosen and Mark Rosen and will be deeply missed by her many other family members and friends. Madeline was preceded in passing by her parents, Albert and Lillian Rosen, and by her brother and sister-in-law, Irwin and Suzanne Rosen.
Madeline earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University and later received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute. Her education reflected her lifelong appreciation for learning, creativity, and the arts.
