Mary Jane Allen

Mary Jane Allen, age 100, of Waterford, was born July 4, 1926, and passed August 22, 2026. Loving mother of Charles (Julie) Allen. Proud grandmother of Amanda (Andrew) Richards, Amber (Crystal) Allen, John Allen, and Donald (Britney) Phelps. Treasured great-grandmother of Damien (Courtney) Richards, Ayleen Richards, Wyatt Brink-Polidan, Lennon Brink-Polidan, Sawyer Brink, and Athena Phelps. Mary Jane will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Mary Jane was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, John F. Allen, and her son, Preston Allen.

Mary Jane was active in her community and enjoyed being involved with the Meadowbrook Woman’s Club, the Arts & Apples Festival, and other local Rochester organizations throughout the years. She worked at Jacobson’s, where she took great pride in selling designer dresses and clothing and sharing her wonderful sense of style with others. Mary Jane also loved spending time on the golf course, especially with her husband, John, her son, Charlie, and her daughter-in-law, Julie. Those rounds of golf created many cherished memories and reflected what mattered most to Mary Jane, enjoying life and spending time with the people she loved.
