Mary Alice Glass, age 98, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Mary was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth, resilience, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born with a love for life’s simple pleasures, Mary found happiness in the everyday — the comforting sounds of country western and instrumental music, the satisfaction of a well-tended garden, the delight of home-cooked meals, and the laughter shared with family. Mary also had a passion for exploring the world. A true traveler at heart, she found special joy in visiting Thailand and China, two of her favorite destinations.
She is survived by her devoted granddaughter, Stacey (Glass) Mouton and Stacey’s husband, Ronald. Her cherished great-grandchildren, Alondra, Ezriel, and Levaeh, who brought her endless joy and pride.
