MICHAEL BRIAN OF ORCHARD LAKE MICHIGAN

Born December 1928 - Ramsgate yet reared in Cornwall, England, passed peacefully November 2018 in Oxnard, California surrounded by family; preceded in death wives Patricia and Doreen.

Survived by son Martin, daughter-in-law Adeline, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother Jack and sister Olive; (exwife Mary Reed-Brian) step-daughters Anita Halprin and Mona Marshall-Czeszewski as well as cousins, nieces and nephews in England, Australia, Canada and the States.

During WWII, as a teenager, he grew up delivering home-made soup to soldiers posted in the church tower of St. Eval in Cornwall. After serving in the Royal British Navy, Mike graduated from Bournemouth College, England with an Mechanical Engineering Degree. Historically, he was employed by Boeing, General Motors, and Jered Industries. Later, successfully created and owned Precision Control Incorporated where he designed a vacuum interface valve for ships sold to the US Navy and US Coastguard as well as other products and services . He was especially proud to having been contributory to the purchase of the Orchard Lake Nature preserve abutting his beloved Upper Straits Lake.
