He was my biological father, and I only ever met him once when I was 16 years old. What kind of father does that? My mother was Paulette Bennett. She passed in 1986

My condolences to the family,Mitch was a great guy, he loved to run his pilot car and hi pole and did a great job,he will be missed by all who worked with him.

I’ve know Mitch for 47 years through many careers I’ve had.  We’ve shared time on the road in our younger days.  I’m saddened that I didn’t hear about his passing and I know his soul is in a better place

I had the pleasure of meeting Mitch from my dear friend Billy. The few times I was able to visit and talk it was always memorable. Mitch was a fine man and one of great character. He will surely be missed by his friends and family. 

My deepest condolences to Mitch's family he was a great person and a joy to work with, he always was able to joke with me and make me laugh even on his worse days. I'll never forget his silly nicknames for me like "Buckie"and "Bump Bump" or the time I was struggling  getting my overalls off and he jumped right in to help me. He was very knowledgeable when it came to his job and was a great escort, myself along with the entire pilot car community will greatly miss him!!
