Nancy Ann King

Nancy Ann King was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly on August 29, 2021 at the age of 69. Nancy was born on March 8, 1952 to parents, Ora and Ardis (Martin) Ellenwood, who preceded her in death. She was raised in Keego Harbor with her sister Susan, who also preceded her in death.

Nancy’s fun-loving, adventurous spirit was evidenced with her passion for the water and outdoors. Growing up on Cass Lake is where she acquired her love of all water activities, spending as much time possible swimming, skiing and kayaking. Her smile and her spunk were undeniably contagious. She devoted her time to her family and friends. She was always there to lend a hand or share a dinner. Nancy was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed and will always be cherished.

Nancy is survived by her children Denise (Kevin) Hopps of Roscommon and Michelle (Dean) King-Nichols of Waterford, grandchildren Devin (Lindsay) and Dalton Hopps, Racer and Cedar Nichols, niece and nephews -Tammy,Terry and Jason and many beloved friends.

A memorial service will be held at Bachelor One in Keego Harbor on September 19, 2021 from 2-6 PM.
