Born on November 26, 1930, in Macomb, Illinois, she was the daughter of Augustus and Edith (Allphin) Brown. Norma Jean spent her childhood in Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1952. She later settled in the Bloomfield Hills area, where she lovingly raised her family.
She is survived by her children, Steven, Greg (Connie Place), Kristin, and Lori; along with many cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard Davis Anderson; her siblings, Harry Brown, Mary Ellen Crook, Richard Brown, Betty Schaudt, and Robert Brown; and her beloved cousin, Virginia Pendell.
