Norma was born the daughter of Clarence and Maryland Moore on December 17, 1927 in Oxford, Michigan. She graduated from Oxford High School and married John Mereau Dawson on April 30, 1949 in Oxford.
Norma raised her children in Sylvan Lake. She loved cats, knitting, and crocheting afghans and table clothes which she often gave away.
Norma is survived by her children Lynda Moore and John (Paula) Dawson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John Dawson; daughter Laura Clifford; and siblings Margaret Cronin, Ida Bennett, John Moore, and Mary Ferguson.
Norma’s family will receive guests for a visitation on Thursday August 24, 2018 from 4pm until the time of Funeral Service at 6pm at Family Funeral Care, located at 2904 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, Michigan.
