

Patricia was born on February 2, 1944, in Detroit Michigan to the late Doris G. Bell (Rice) and Gene A. Bell. She was the oldest sibling to Martha McCann (Paul), Michael Bell (Brenda) and Peter Bell (Aimee). She will be deeply missed by her children, Melissa (Matthew) Stifter, William (Kimberly) Sutton, Jennifer (James) Groleau, Paul Tola, and Sarah (Mike) Tola. She will be missed by her 16 grandchildren, Amanda (Peter) Schuchman, Anthony (Kendall) Stifter, Rebecca (Alex) Mancero, Samantha (Missy) McJennett, Rodney (Ashley) Malone, Katherine Kavanaugh, Matthew Sutton, Olivia Tola, Savannah Rood, Madalyn Howe, Taylor (Aaron) Liles, Andrew Liles, Jonathan Groleau, Colin Tola, Michael Lloyd, Patrick Lloyd. She will be remembered by her 3 Great-grandchildren Nora, Kanan and Scarlett.
Patricia grew up in Dearborn Michigan. She graduated from Dearborn High School in 1962. She attended Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan 1962-1964, Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan the mid 1980’s and then completed her studies in 2001, earning a Master’s degree in Theological Studies at St. Mary’s College in Orchard Lake, Michigan.
She faithfully dedicated more than 30 years of her life as the Director of Religious Education at St. Benedict Catholic Church and School in Waterford, Michigan and Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and School in Waterford, Michigan.
She found joy in her Catholic faith, teaching, reading, camping and cherished time spent with her family. Being a daughter of a WWII veteran, Patricia was very compassionate for all Military Veteran programs. Her father, Gene Bell was in General George Patton’s 3rd Army throughout WWII. He was stationed throughout Europe during his time in the Army.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life gathering at her favorite park on Lake Huron in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in her name to Project Wounded Warriors or Michigan Heros Museum in Frankenmuth, MI.
