Richard Martinez

Richard Martinez, age 59, of Auburn Hills, passed away July 12, 2025 in Rochester. He was born August 29, 1965 in Pontiac. Richard is survived by his beloved son, Joey Harris, his devoted mother, Linda Martinez, his brother, Anthony Martinez, and his half-sister, Paula Hopkins. He was preceded in passing by his father, Ricardo Martinez, and his half-brother, Randy Zolman. Richard also leaves behind a dear friend, Amy Clark, and numerous other family members and friends.

Richard was a hardworking and driven man who built his own business specializing in authentic hardwood flooring. He took great pride in his craft and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Richard found joy in the outdoors. He loved spending time at the beach, parks, and exploring nature. He had a passion for riding mini bikes and dune buggies, embracing life with energy and enthusiasm.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for adventure, and the deep connections he held with those closest to him.
