Beloved husband of Janis Heiron of fifty-five years. Adoring father to Andrea (Joshua) Fletcher and Gregory (Tabitha) Mora. Grandfather to Justine (Zack) Fernandez, Dalton Mora, Derek Mora, Jarred Fletcher, Cailyn Mora, and Brody Mora. Great-grandfather to Olivia, aka OB1. Also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother and father Mary and Fred Mora and sister Joyce Ann Day (Mora).
Richard went to Waterford Kettering high school and received his diploma. After high school, Richard attended Oakland Community College for two years where he was part of Delta Phi Kappa fraternity. Richard was passionate about his work. He started out in retailing at WT Grant and went on to K-Mart, retiring from CVS and Walgreens after more than thirty years. Richard was devoted to his family and also enjoyed hunting. Richard was also a sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching all the different sporting events possible. Richard loved sports so much that he took part-time work at the Palace and DTE Energy Center.
Visitation will be held at Family Funeral Care Funeral Home located on 2904 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, Michigan 48320 between the hours of 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Saturday November 13th, 2021.
