Robert Alvers Beckman

Robert Alvers Beckman of West Bloomfield, passed away on December 12, 2021. He was born in Detroit Michigan on February 14, 1939. He graduated from Walled Lake Central High School in 1956. He was a proud University of Michigan alumni with an undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration. He bled BLUE his entire life! His mood altered depending on each Michigan football game outcome!

He was married to Jean Beckman, Robin Downey and Vicky Morris.

He was a pioneer in the after-market wheel and tire industry.

He was passionate about gardening, reading, cooking, eating-out, DOGS, history, art and of course U of M FOOTBALL!

Robert is survived by his children Susan Fedorchak (Jack), Judy Berghoff, Jill Beckman, step children Javier Angel Torres, Jason & Erik Tomaino, Sage Croci, along with his siblings William Beckman and Christine Johnston.

His wonderful grandchildren include: Nicholas Fedorchak (Arielle), Michael Fedorchak (Taylor), Rebecca Fedorchak, Zoey Berghoff, Blake Berghoff, Jade Berghoff, Roxanne Eaton, Phoenix Eaton. Great Grandchildren include Mila Fedorchak, Noa Fedorchak, Francesca Fedorchak, Luca Fedorchak and Leo Fedorchak. He will be remembered by all of the fabulous 5-star restaurants, flying around the world w a crazy shirt on and a dog by his side!
