Ronald “Ron” Francis Gaddis, age 68, of Waterford, was born February 22, 1956 and passed away January 23, 2025. Beloved husband of Cornelia "Cari" Baker. Loving father of Kristen Gaddis and Jason (Emily) Hall. Treasured grandfather of Paige. Dear brother of Donna Bigelow, Jill (Tom) Bright, Steve (Robbin) Shelby, and Tracy (Cathi) Gaddis. Ron will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Ron was preceded in passing by his parents: Francis Gaddis and Mildred (James) Shelby; and his siblings: Sandy Taylor, Jeff Gaddis, Judy Shelby, and Mark Shelby.
He had a deep appreciation for mythology and was an avid collector of knives, swords, and firearms. He found joy in fishing and camping, especially in northern Michigan, with Mackinaw holding a special place in his heart. In earlier years, he also enjoyed hunting. Above all, he cherished his family, treasured the time they spent together, and had a special adoration for his granddaughter, Paige.
