CASWELL, Ruth Alice Devlin, 87, passed away October 14, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 5, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late James C. and Edna Devlin. Ruth graduated from West Minster College in 1952 with a BA in business and theater arts. She then earned her Master’s Degree in business from Penn State University in 1956. Ruth was employed by IBM as a systems analyst and Bloomfield Hills Schools, West Hills Deaf Education Department Para-Professional. Mother of Jamie Lynn Grodecki and the late David Devlin Caswell; grandmother of Jay Lynn La Rose, Jenna Grodecki and Kara Grodecki; great-grandmother of Sofia, Alyina and Sophia; and sister of the late Jimmy Devlin and Robert Devlin.
