Timothy Moore

Timothy Moore, age 77, of West Bloomfield, was born on April 16, 1949, and passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2026. Beloved husband of Margaret Moore for 56 years. Loving father of Kelly (Doug) Abraham, Brian Moore, and Kevin (Jennifer) Moore. Proud grandfather of Paige Abraham, Payton Abraham, Ava Moore, and Alexander Moore. Dear brother of Patricia (the late Bob) Dubes, Judy (the late Bennie) Tartoni, Diana (the late Don) Semak, and the late Don (Beverly) Moore. Timothy was preceded in passing by his parents, Clarence and Eleanor Moore. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Timothy was an incredibly hard worker, a quality he proudly instilled in his children. He enjoyed a successful career with Ford Motor Company, where he worked as an engineer for 25 years. Highly respected by his colleagues, Timothy took great pride in his work and genuinely loved what he did. Following his career at Ford, he went on to work for Valiant, where he served as Vice President. His dedication and strong work ethic allowed him to retire at a young age and enjoy the life he had worked so hard to build.

Timothy was always on the go and rarely sat still. He loved golfing, duck hunting, working in his yard, and tackling whatever project was next on his list. He especially loved living on the lake and the enjoyment that came with being near the water.

A true Detroit sports fan, Timothy loved watching the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions, although his relationship with the Lions could best be described as love-hate. Hockey was a particular favorite, but nothing compared to watching and supporting his grandchildren. He could often be found cheering them on at hockey, gymnastics, volleyball, and diving, and he took great pride in each of their accomplishments.

Retirement also gave Timothy the opportunity to spend his winters in St. Augustine, Florida, a place he truly enjoyed. His days there were often spent golfing and taking daily walks along the beach, enjoying the sunshine and the relaxed pace of life.

More than anything, Timothy treasured his family and friends. Whether he was outdoors, working on a project, enjoying life on the lake, walking the beach in Florida, watching his favorite Detroit teams, or cheering from the sidelines for his grandchildren, Timothy made the most of each day. He will be remembered for his tremendous work ethic, his active spirit, and above all, the love and devotion he had for his family.

Memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 16, 2026 at 11:00am (Gathering 10:00am) at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake.
