Veronica Marcelle Blissett, 61, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2025. Marcelle was born on May 18, 1964, in Knox City, Texas, to Weldon and Sandra (Lampe) Slaton.
She is survived by her father, Weldon Slaton; her four children, Tre’ York and his wife Camille, Shauna (York) Purdom and her husband Beau, Patricia (Lindsey) Doyle and her husband Dave, and Randell Blissett; her sisters, Shelly Cooper and her husband D.L., and Cicily Muniz and her husband Jesse; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rusty Blissett; her mother, Sandra Slaton; her brother, Rocky Slaton; and her nephew, Dylan Cooper.
Marcelle has been cremated, and her remains will be laid to rest beside her mother in Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
