Virginia M. Olszewski

Virginia Mary Olszewski, of Waterford, MI passed away at the age of 80 yrs. old. She was born in Detroit, MI on January 7, 1939, to Stanley and Genevieve Sikorski. On May 11, 1996, she married her life-long partner, Bob Olszewski. They were married until his death on January 15, 2016. She worked for FPT Pontiac for over 44 years as a scale operator but her passion throughout life was her family. She was a devoted aunt, great-aunt and great-great aunt and doted on all the children in her family. She will be remembered for her selfless love and enduring compassion by everyone she knew. Virginia was survived by her sister; Sylvia (Russell) Latier, her nieces; Cheryl Mercer and Sharon (Eric Pliska) Latier, her nephews; Stanley Sikorski and Jeffery Sikorski, great niece; Jennifer (Frank) Dimmine great nephew; Nicolas (Stephanie) Mercer, great niece; Heidi (Brock) Jesweak great-great nephews Frankie, Dominic, Mason, and Anthony and a great-great niece or nephew due September 2019.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Bob Olszewski, her loving parents; Stanley and Genevieve Sikorski, and her brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Joann Sikorski

A memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 4-7PM at Family Funeral Care, 2904 Orchard Lake Rd., Keego Harbor, MI 48320 with a memorial service to follow.
