Aaron Norville Johnson

On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Aaron Johnson, loving husband, father, and son, passed away at the age of 45. Aaron grew up in Iowa with his mother, Judith, father Tom, brother Shawn, sister Trisha. In 1980 they moved to Germany for several years where his dad served in the Army. In 1995 Aaron enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed on Camp Pendleton, California where he met his wife, Talena. On May 1, 1996, he married Talena. On June 3, 1997, they welcomed their first child Megan into the world. Nine months later, they were expecting again this time with a son. Daniel was born on December 29, 1998. Aaron served twenty years in an infantry unit in the United States Marine Corps. He spent time in several countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2015, Aaron officially retired from the Marine Corps. He worked as a local driver for a couple of years after retiring from the Marines until they moved to Killeen, Texas in July 2018. His family was blessed to be able to spend the last two and half years with Aaron fully retired. He was finally able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family without the stress of a job. Aaron is survived by his wife, Talena; his children Megan and Daniel; Mother Judith; and siblings Shawn (Shaylee) and Trisha (Duane). He is preceded in death by his father; Tom, Grandfather, Norville and Grandmother Mildred.
