Thank you Thank you Thank you Mr Cole for giving me so much love and so much respect. It was an honor to grow up across the street from you and all that you did for me. Those years of taking me in treating me like one of your sons I will never forget and will always so grateful for it.
Love Ted

Al and I were good friends for many years and even though distance has kept us apart over the later years we had many good times together as we were growing up.
I have had a lot of memories of growing up with Al from grade school on. In grade school, when they lived at the first ballpark, I used to like, to go and play with him in the bleachers. During the war there was a searchlight group stationed at the ballpark who would practice on the planes going on practice bombing missions out of MAF and Al and I would play around the equipment and learn how they listened for the planes and then when they had one they would illuminate it with am spotlight. I also remember that during the polio epidemic I was not allowed to go to the carnival that would set up by the ballpark but I would go and play with Al and we would slip off to the carnival. There are many more memories from when we got older but I won't elaborate on them. We never got in trouble though. For all of us from this generation life is growing shorter every day but as long as I live the memories of my dear friends like Al will keep me young. I'll miss you Al.

Al and John were friends for 80 years. So many wonderful times they have laughed and joked about whenever they got together by phone or in person.
Love and God's blessings to you boys as you miss this kind and generous man!!!!

Dearest Al,
You will be missed.. What an amazing, often times hard headed, loving, caring man that brought soooo much Love and Happiness to my Mother's life in the 6 year's y'all had together before she was called home.
It was an honor to call you step-dad and Love you and be a part of your family while you were part of ours.
RIP along with all the other wonderful Angel's rejoicing at your homecoming.

Love Always
Cindy

My sweet Al and I worked together for years at ACE Hardware in Belton, Texas. I loved him like my own grandfather. We would always share chicken noodle soup and a turkey sandwich for lunch! I will miss him terribly, it was a pleasure being able to call him a friend.
