Albert Pedro Gonzales

Feb. 2, 1929 toPedro and Casimira Gonzales in

Colonias, NM. He died surrounded by his loved

ones on April 5, 20117.

Albert graduated form Immaculate Heart High

School in Las Vegas,NM before being drafted to

serve in th U.S. Army. He reitred as aSergeant First

Class in 1975 after 26 years of honorable service.

He met the love of his life, Hwa Cha (Rose) Kim and

the two were inseparable afterward until Rose

preceded him in death in 2012. They brought their

family to Killeen in 1959 and have called Killeen home

ever since.

Survivors include his six children and their spouses:

Alex Gonzalesand wife, Cheryl; Anna Dunn and husband,

Rick; Albert P. GonzalesII and wife, Brenda;

Ambrose Gonzales and wife, Rose; Angela Balfe; and

Anthony Gonzales and wife, Annette. Also, 14 grandchildren:

Robert Dunn and wife, Whitney; Michael Gonzales and fiance, Katy;

Jonathan Gonzales; Michelle Balfe and husband, Justin Ontjes;

Christina McBride and husband, Brady; Kimberly Dunn Palomo

and husband, Luis; Michael Balfe, Jr.; Robert Ivey; Ricky Dunn;

Kevin Gonzales; Ryan Gonzales; Kyle Gonzales; Rachel Gonzales;

and Daniel Gonzales. Also, 9 great-grandchildren: Riley Dunn,

Reece Dunn, Cogan McBride, Paloma McBride, Milam McBride,

Aryanna Palomo, Ethan Ontjes, Parker Ontjes and Jeter Palomo.

Also, brother Manuel Gonzales and wife, Mary:

sister-in-law Kim Un Ja; and numerous nieces and nephews.
