Anna Booker

Anna Booker of Killeen, Texas passed from this life on February 24, 2019 at age 84 in Temple, Texas after a short battle with cancer. She was born February 12, 1935 in San Salvator, (Niederbayern) Germany.

Anna was a 51 year resident of Killeen, Texas and a homemaker. As an avid gardener Anna enjoyed the outdoors. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, and taking care of family and friends.

She is survived by: her husband of 52 years, James Booker, Killeen, daughter, Sharon Dees, La Porte Texas (husband , Thomas), daughter, Dorisa EB Weaver, El Paso Texas (Husband, Michael), granddaughter, Antoinett Hart, Aurora Illinois (husband, William), brothers, Germany ( Alois, Josef, Adolf, Franz, Karl Leberfing), sister , Germany (Maria Wuhrer ). Anna also had many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria and father, Franz Leberfing , and brothers Johann and Georg Leberfing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Centex Humane Society, Killeen, Texas or any animal cause of your choosing as she was a lover of all animals.

The family will receive visitors at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home on February 28, 2019 at 6-8 pm. Burial at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery will be on March 1, 2019 at 10:00 am.
