Anthony was born on February 14, 1976 to Joe Willie McGee Lee and Edgar Love. Both his parents preceded him in death. Anthony is also predeceased by his grandmothers Willie Mae McGee and Eva Love and his grandfathers Joseph McGee and Steve Love. His cousin Edward Jerome McGee also preceded him in death.
Anthony loved so many and was loved by so many more. His spirit will always be with us through memories of the humorous stories he forced us to endure whether we were in the mood or not. Anthony missed his comedic calling because he had the ability to fill any room with laughter. According to his sister, JoAnne, he considered himself a professional dancer but that was in his mind only, because he had Zero rhythm.
Anthony worked extremely hard and diligently to obtain his commercial driver’s license (CDL) and was so extremely excited when he passed the test. No one could have been prouder of these accomplishments than his children and his siblings.
At this time, we will all come together and rejoice rather than feel sorrow. Anthony would not have had it any other way.
Left to cherish his memories are his children; Dalvin Gibson, Anthony AnQuwon Junior, Anaya Lee, and Ti’Jhae Lee; his grandchildren Armani A’Zea Junior, Rylan Ace Junior, and Kinsley Gibson; and his siblings Charles McGee (Kettly) of Land O’ Lakes, FL; Sandra McGee Blackshire (Erroll) of Killeen, TX; Dorothy McGee Wilson (Melvin) of South Bend, IN; Curtis McGee of Pickens, MS; Mary Lee Alexander (Willis) of Pickens, MS; Brenda Albert and JoAnne Lee both of Killeen, TX and Selena Dixon of St. Louis, MO. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins will also continue to cherish his memories.
A visitation for Anthony will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, Killeen, Texas, followed by a a celebration of life service at 1:00 PM.
