Aris was born August 10, 1991 in Long Beach, California, moving to Killeen, Texas in 1994. He was known for his warmth and friendly spirit. He never met a stranger and found genuine joy in bringing people together, often leading line dances at local cultural organization gatherings and events. He had a natural way of making people feel welcomed and at ease.
Aris is survived by his parents, Maria Jasmine Silla Briones and Edwin Cruz Briones, his sister Alexa Nicole Whitis, his extended family, and a wide circle of friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity of spirit. He was preceded in death by his sister, Adeline Hope Briones.
A funeral service will be held on January 16, 2026 from 11am-1pm at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, Texas. Aris will be remembered for the joy he created, the connections he fostered, and the warmth he shared so freely with others.
